 HOW YOUR BABY GROW

BY Four weeks of pregnancy  the ball of cells in your womb  has developed into an embryo. Although it's  only the size of a POPPY SEEDS  a lot is happening.
There are two layers of developing cells/ the epiblast which will for your  entire baby, and he hypoblast which is a temporary layer of cells.
The embryo is surrounded by an amniotic sac, which is filled with fluid to cushion and protect it/ The placenta is in the early stage of development and also has two layer. Some cells are  tunneling into the lining  of your womb to provide an oxygen supply from you to your baby; while other cells are producing the hormone human chorionic gonadotrophin  which gives you that big fat positive on your pregnancy test;.
At about 10 weeks the  placenta will  supply your baby with the nutrients she requires/ until then a small yolk sac provides all the nourishement  the embryo needs.

FERTILIZATION

IMPLANATION : THREE WEEKS PREGNANCY

 HOW BABY IS GROWING

Your fertilized egg is now a tiny ball of constantly multiply cells called a blastocyst. It implants into the lining of your womb and continues to grow. Some of cells will become your baby, while others will become the placenta or the amniotic sac.
The cells that are developing into a placenta have started to produce the pregnancy hormone hCG(human chorionic gonadotropin). This hormone tells your ovaries to boost production of oestriogen and progesterone which stop your womb from shedding its lining. hCG is also the hormone that will turn your pregnancy test positive
meanwhile, amniotic fluid is beginning to form in the cavity that will become the amniotic sac. This fluid will cushion your baby in the weeks and months ahead.

                                   CONCEPTION :

                                   FETAL DEVELOPMENT

CONCEPTION HAPPENS WHEN A SPERM PENETRATES ONE OF YOUR EGGS

When did you conceive your baby, and when is your due date?  Many women don't know when they last ovulated, so working out when a sperm fertilized the egg.
Knowing how your body ovulated  and prepares itself for pregnancy may help  you to understand how your due date can be calculated

In the week after your period, oestrogen triggers your womb to form a lush, blood-rich lining of tissue. Your levels of the hormone progesterone rise, and your eggs ripen in fluid-filled sacs called follicles.

At around 14 days of a month cycle, one of your eggs is released from your overy and swept into and down your fallopian tube by tiny finger like structure called cilia. This is called ovulation. In the next 12 hours to 24 hours, the egg, wait  to be fertilized by a single sperm.

EJACULATION can contain about 200 million and 600 million sperm.although these huge number only about 200 sperm will be active sperm to finish the journey to the fallopian tube.

      When you ovulate  the mucus in your cervix  is thinner than the usual. This helps the sperm  the swim through vagina and womb to your fallopian tube. ;

Conception occur when a sperm penetrates the waiting egg. It does this by releasing enzyme that help to break down the protective cells covering the egg. Once the sperm has enterd the egg immediately closes its outer membrane to any sperm that can not enter again or made it this far.

                                                CONGRATULATION
although, you have just conceived your are officially two weeks pregnant
